Auto-Tune and the Artistic Ego
A fun part of being a tour rigger is hearing an artist talk in the afternoon, then listening to them sing with an Auto-Tuned voice that night. It's like they become a different person.
Auto-Tune has been around since the late 90s, but after the cybernetic shift at the turn of the millennium, the software became ubiquitous. This audio processor allows recording engineers or front-of-house board-operators to alter the pitch, tone, and overall sound of the singer’s vocals.
Every artist struggles to maintain the integrity of their natural voice. The worst part is when you have to admit—on occasion—that the Auto-Tuned version sounds better.
I suppose that's just part of the gig. They rapin’ errybody out here.

The Fruits of Human Cruelty
Latest article: “Is Grafting Dead Babies’ Scalps Onto Lab Rats Any Better Than Child Sacrifice? ” – in The Federalist
Child sacrifice strains the limits of moral relativity, yet somehow abortion gets a pass. There are various arguments for why that is, but at least it's a debate. In contrast, aborted fetuses used for medical experimentation largely exist in a semi-conscious gray area. Our tax dollars pay for it through the National Institutes of Health, but more often than not, we never hear about it.
In a recent Newsweek editorial, David Daleiden reminded the public that scientists at the University of Pittsburgh have been taking late-term aborted infants, cutting out their body parts, and then grafting their scalps onto mice, or harvesting their organs for medical use.
The natural response is revulsion. For the sake of sanity, though, that momentary outrage is usually followed by forgetfulness.
It's a difficult subject to contemplate, so most people don't. Not for long. ...

Talking About Tech and UFOs on the War Room!
Mr. Stephen K. Bannon has invited me to join him regularly on the War Room: Pandemic! It’s an honor I readily accepted, detractors be damned.
It’ll be strange to leave the tour rigging world for TV and radio, but I consider it a matter of duty—to my family, my community, my country, and to the divine—my own small part in an American Dharma.
Last Friday, Bannon had me on to discuss the above Federalist article. It was an engaging conversation, as always.
The only problem was, the article had only just been published. To make matters worse, Steve asked me to say the headline for the radio audience. Most editors prefer to write the headlines, though, and I’d only read it once that morning!
Remember when you were a kid and had to memorize a poem for English class, and then recite it in front of your peers? Well, it was like that—only syndicated.
You can watch it on Rumble here
Aside from my cognitive malfunction, it was a great conversation—especially given the rattling subject-matter—as was our subsequent conversation on the ongoing UFO craze. Expect to hear more about this in the coming weeks.

Lastly, I really appreciate all the feedback and support—and critiques—you’ve been sending. It’s my pleasure!
Buckle up, because this year will only get wilder.
(An addendum to the 2020 COVID-19 Relief Bill stipulates that the intelligence community is to deliver a report—on June 25—detailing 120 UFO sightings over the past 20 years. If you’re bored down here on Earth, keep your eyes on the skies. Apparently, that’s what the Powers That Be would prefer us to do.)

If God is Dead, Pray to Facebook
Forced isolation “due to Covid” has pushed our souls into the digital ether as if we were stamps pressed into fresh clay. Our every email and whisper, plus our photos and videos, have been captured and hoovered up by the predatory entities who constantly monitor the networks.
As with everything else, religious worship has been forced online, allowing Big Data analysts to sift through our deepest desires and most desperate fears. Now, Facebook is attempting to make this part of the New Normal.
This was reported last week at Gizmodo:
Facebook’s found a new way to capitalize on the thoughts, prayers (and data) from the religious side of its user base. On Thursday, the company confirmed that it’s begun expanding a new feature called “prayer posts” that will let members of particular Facebook groups literally ask for (and offer up) prayers for other folks on the platform. …
At the time, Nona Jones—who has the baffling role of leading “Global Faith Partnerships” for the company—told one of these religious outlets that the idea for prayer posts stemmed from the need to “build community,” with users over the course of the pandemic. It’s not a coincidence that Jones was seeing this post in the lead-up to Easter when churches were expecting to see their attendance to be sliced to a fraction of what they’d expect in the pre-covid era.
“During the COVID-19 pandemic we’ve seen many faith and spirituality communities using our services to connect, so we’re starting to explore new tools to support them,” a Facebook spokesperson told Gizmodo.
A more accurate statement would be “we’re exploring new tools to probe, defile, and manipulate our users.” I won’t say this is “evil”—not yet—but I wouldn’t argue with anyone who did.
I'm not a facebook user, but a site called uCatholic has a prayer post section that allows direct posts as well as facebook member posts. It worked well, until it didn't. Jun/Jul 2020 had 25k email readers on a daily basis, then one fine day, it fell to a few hundred. What happened? Not sure, but since then, spam slingshots onto these prayer posts on a daily basis. I reported it, nothing. Asked my boyos how to remove it or block it, nada. The push for making money from home by ESL misfits or bots from hell has ruined the reason behind posting those prayer intentions in the first place; works of mercy, both spiritual and temporal. Dr. Taylor Marshall often says on his monologues to 'take up space' online. Well, not that way. Not anymore. My four children take up plenty of space! God sees our sacrifice and silent prayer in private.
