It always pays to sceptical. I'm sure the parasitic class would love to fill us full of nanobots, delilvered by jabs, the food we eat, the air we breathe and heaven knows what other fiendish method, to control us all or simply diminish the number of useless eaters they will have to do something about when the Fourth Industrial Revolution flowers into reality. But hold on a minute. What about THEM, their kids and grandkids? If the nanoparticles are everywhere and unavoidable, and spread by shedding to boot, how are they going to escape the same fate as the rest of us? No, don't tell me - they've all been issued with DARPA prophylactic that nullifies the microscopic little buggers in their bloodstream that will enslave or eliminate the rest of us. Seriously, am I missing something here?
I agree it’s healthy to be skeptical, but if that’s where most of our energy goes, who’s left to actually imagine let alone create what a better future might look like? 🤔
You had me at, “one affable follower wrote me today, “I think you are ‘in on it!’” Joe. 😂. Always enjoy your well-articulated thoughts about all of this. Sometimes dark, almost satanic at times, yet optimistic at times as well. You have one interesting, fascinating personality the way you look at and write about all of this, almost makes me question myself as I do enjoy reading all your posts like maybe I’m a little warped myself, as I actually understand where you’re coming from at times as I read.😋 Please keep up the great work, I know you sure put a lot of work into all you do, Thank You🙏
Also enjoy it when you guest host on Steve’s WarRoom, as he remains one of Biden/Harris’ political prisoners in CT. 👿
I know when I see the word Singularity in my email I am about to smile and even lol. You never disappoint. LOVED the response to the jerk who was critical. AI conversations with people under 70 yrs old make me want to run through the streets screaming “ It’s people! We’re eating people” and then jump in my DeLorean and let them figure it out.
The only thing I'm sure about in this life is that I'm not sure about anything except God because I wouldn't be here without Him.
That said, I had an interesting chat with the Gettr bot earlier when I asked it who is running that social media site now, and how could I contact a human being about issues on the site.
I rolled my eyes when the word "thinking" popped up, then it pulled up the original notification about Gettr when Jason Miller was the CEO. It appears that site is running on AI now, and it sucks. There are fake Steve Bannon accounts all over the place, and honestly it seemed like the problems all started when Steve went to prison. Before I could report them, and they would be gone within a matter of minutes, but nothing is being done about them now.
FREE STEVE BANNON!!
That's good writing, Joe. I enjoyed it very much. ♡
When I collect myself I'll come back to read the rest. ♡
Last week I was having trouble reading your article because my brain wasn't working too well. This week I'm having trouble because I can't stop laughing.
This is the Ron Popeal (sp?) moment! "It chops, it dices and slices unripened tomatoes!" Keep the AI at bay, limit it in your world and never believe it is smarter than you! Remember pong! I still can't believe I was given that expensive thing for Xmas! BORING and at that time it was the latest & greatest! You are on the right track, Joe, hang in there!
I'll get excited about AI when, and if, they come up with a means to make inanimate objects more human focused. The gold standard for me would be a hoodie that is smart enough to line up the second arm hole with your hand that is flailing around like a dead fish and trying to find it among the folds while others look on, smile and utter comments in sotto voce. I, for one, feel like a complete idiot and "maroon" for not being able to put on a hoodie without my wife smacking her lips and taking her hands off her hips, with the requisite "eye roll," and saying something like: "having trouble there, old guy? Here, let me help."
If AI can make that go away, I'm in for the long haul. Otherwise, it's all part of the Robert Heinlein adapted novel that we call "life beyond the industrial revolution" playing out on the world stage.
Joe, your skepticism is fair. You caution against AI god-bots and overblown techno-utopias, and I agree—we shouldn't worship at the altar of AI. But I’m skeptical that we can even hold the line between human and machine for much longer. We’re merging with technology already, whether we like it or not. Soon, AI will pierce the blood-brain barrier, and our withering limbs will be replaced with titanium and silicon. This isn’t just about external tools, it’s about becoming one with what we’ve created. The singularity might not arrive with a bang, but it’ll seep into us, and the thing I think we all need to be more worried about is whether we’re prepared or not to manage that slow fusion, that creeping integration, without losing what makes us human.
Quantum mechanics tells us that if we believe (Observer Effect) the ungodly... The ungodly can enter into reality and become a real unit of measure. Conversely, it the ungodly remains unobserved (ignored), I t cannot infiltrate our domain.

I don't believe in housewives

This one made me laugh out loud!! Joe does have a way with words.
I laughed to tears. Joe is an excellent writer. ♡

Just an old TV show, right?

AI
It might be artificial, but it’s not intelligent
Do you think humans are any more intelligent? Have you looked at the world recently? 😂
This is precisely the problem Pranath. Less intelligent beings creating something that is more intelligent. Kinda doesn’t make sense does it?
Or is it karma?
Is AI a mirror to humanity?
Everything it is, comes from us after all?
