I agree with Trump that the USA needs to be the leader in AI and similar iterations - on top and ahead of those who want to do us harm...which unfortunately seems to include many of the NGO's Elon and his bunch are revealing through his work w/DOGE. I like a lot of what Elon is doing but I don't like Neuralink, at least not yet. I see the need for such though, my husband had aphasia among other chronic illnesses, not being able to communicate verbally was difficult to say the least. Neuralink may have helped us. So I don't want to rule it out. My comment above was intended to have "Elon" as a metaphor for "AI". BTW I was a holdout on Smart phones, I got my first one in 2020 and now of course I cant do without it.
